In her over thirty-year career in the theatre, Ms. Taylor has enjoyed the guidance of extraordinary luminaries, including Olga Everinoff, Glenn Gilmore, Earl Kraul, and Betty Oliphant, been fortunate to work as peer to Harris Ferris, David Nixon, Yoko Ichino, and Simone Lalonde, become Prima Ballerina of Empire State Ballet, and perform many of the great classical ballerina roles.
Ms. Taylor brings to Canadian Pacific Ballet the full strength of her vision of classical ballet, and the commitment to build a home where in romantic and classical ballet may thrive for future generations.
Mr. McMonagle first encountered classical dance in his childhood hometown, at Heather Gordon School of Dance. While his career has lead him farther afield, including Toronto (Opera Atelier), Michigan (Company Dance Traverse), and Ohio (Columbus Dance Theatre and Ballet Classique), Mr. McMonagle is committed to producing accessible, period informed, romantic and classical ballet in this, his home region. In addition to his title of Co-Artistic Director, Mr. McMonagle performs roles as dancer, and costumer, and finds this integral involvement stimulating and challenging.
