Junior Apprentice Workshop

This two week intensive workshop, created for dancers between the ages of 11 and 15, allows young dancers a glimpse into professional dance life. Along with daily technique and pointe classes, dancers are challenged to both rehearse and create choreography, some from the company repertoire and others new.
Summer Lecture Series 2007- Building a Ballet

“La Esmeralda,” this series’ production of discussion, offers fascinating opportunities to the artists and audience,to delve into the hidden practices of creating a ballet, from the choice of major elements, themes and styles, to tricks and choices in the construction of a tutu. Join Roberta Taylor and Graham McMonagle as they discuss and illuminate their process of creation, in the intimate setting of the studio, and become on of the priviledged few to approach this ballet’s premiere with a backstage glimpse at its construction. Tea and light refreshments to be served.
Apprentice Audition Workshop

Canadian Pacific Ballet hold a month long audition process to select dancers for our annual Apprentice Program. While focused on this process, the Workshop is also a valuable exposure to classical ballet technique, offering participants an immersion into Canadian Pacific Ballet's process.
