Canadian Pacific Ballet is honoured to enjoy such a circle of Friends. Included in this group are people from many walks of life. Some are dedicated supporters of the arts and members of the art community. Some are people with little previous arts experience. Some find themselves able to make significant financial contributions to specific projects, while others choose to support Canadian Pacific Ballet's general existence. All have come in contact with Canadian Pacific Ballet in one way or another, and believe that its mission and its work are deserving of support.

Your financial support helps en sure a vibrant future for Romantic and Classical Ballet within our community. Co-Artistic Directors Roberta Taylor and Graham McMonagle strive to maintain not only beautiful performances, but also the physical and aesthetic language of the classical dance, preserving this art form for future generations of lovers of dance.
Your financial support helps Canadian Pacific Ballet build and maintain not only the choreography of classical works, the dancers fit to perform it and the scenery and wardrobe to make a production beautiful; it helps to maintain a physical space in which to do all of these. Our three thousand square foot suite in Market Square houses two rehearsal studios where dancers strive to perfect their technique on a daily basis, administrative space, and a complete wardrobe shop, where garments seen on stage are produced. Supporting the space allows Canadian Pacific ballet to produce.

Your financial support allows Canadian Pacific Ballet to give back to community the way we know best - from the stage. Every second onstage costs dollars-each moment onstage can be priceless.

Your financial support helps members of Canadian Pacific Ballet's Apprentice Program achieve their goals, and provides a place to actually practice the preservation of Classical Ballet. Our two-tier Apprentice Program offers young dancers exposure to the practices and disciplines of life as a ballet dancer, and older dancers a place to hone their skills as beginning professional ballet dancers. The future of Canadian Pacific Ballet is in their hands.
PASSION The practice of any classical art is a humbling, daunting task. It requires from each of its practitioners a passion unlike many others. Your financial support is fundamental to this continued practice. Without support, without an audience, without your passionate involvement, there is no ballet.
