Tickets on sale now! Considered one of the great Romantic ballets, Giselle was first performed in Paris in 1841. Originally choreographed by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot, then reset by Marius Petipa for the Russian Imperial Ballet, Canadian Pacific Ballet’s resident choreographer and Co-Artistic Director Roberta Taylor will re-stage this spectacular ballet for the stage of the McPherson Playhouse. Giselle has endured as a classic in the ballet repertoire for more than 150 years and is among the five major works that define the ballet world. This fall Canadian Pacific Ballet will begin the 2010/2011 Season with this romantic two-act story featuring Ashley Evans as Giselle and Graham McMonagle as Albrecht, supported by the spectacular corps de ballet of Canadian Pacific Ballet. 
Nutcracker Suite & Sugar Plum Fair

The ultimate holiday treat and a joy for the whole family! Canadian Pacific Ballet’s Nutcracker Suite follows Clara’s magical Christmas dream from her family’s holiday party and the gift of a mysterious Nutcracker doll, through a battle between mice and soldiers, an escape through a snowy forest into the Palace of the Sugar Plum Fairie, where Clara is presented the dances and gifts of all the sweets of the land. Narrated by an aged Clara Staulbaum, “The Nutcracker Suite” is sure to enchant audiences of all ages.
